About the position
Perido is looking for a dedicated System Manager to our client, a leading Nordic bank. In this role, you will work at the heart of our operations, ensuring reliable performance, secure environments, and smooth releases. You'll join a committed team that values quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your daily tasks
Update and Release Management: Oversee deployments of new releases and patches, ensuring seamless updates with minimal downtime and maximum security
Incident Handling: Act swiftly to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, restoring operations efficiently during disruptions
Backup & Recovery: Maintain robust backup routines and develop comprehensive recovery plans to safeguard business continuit
Environment Setup: Build and maintain dedicated Lumera test environments to support smooth testing workflows and high-quality assurance processes
System Integrity & Security: Secure the integrity, performance, and protection of Lumera databases and applications
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine-tune systems, identifying bottlenecks, improving performance, and ensuring alignment with the wider IT infrastructure
Documentation & Compliance: Keep documentation accurate and audit-ready, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations
Your characteristics
You are a proactive and structured professional who takes genuine ownership of the systems you manage. You communicate clearly and confidently, making complex technical matters easy to understand for both technical and non-technical colleagues. With a calm and solution-oriented mindset, you handle challenges effectively, even when working under pressure. You are naturally curious, always looking for ways to optimize processes and strengthen system stability, and you contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture. While you pay close attention to details, you also maintain a strong holistic perspective on the broader IT landscape.

Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience as a System Manager, Database Administrator, or similar role focused on application and database management
Solid understanding of containerization, including Docker and/or Kubernetes, and hands-on experience managing containerized applications
Familiarity with database administration, monitoring tools, backup/recovery strategies, and patch & release management
Awareness of compliance frameworks such as GDPR or ISO 27001, along with a practical understanding of secure system operations
Excellent troubleshooting abilities, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and strong communication skills suited for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Meritorious:
Knowledge of Lumera
Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-06-30. Start 2026-01-06.
