Vizrt is currently looking for a motivated and team-oriented System Engineer to join the Infrastructure team.
About the System Engineer role:
As a member of the infrastructure team, you will be helping Vizrt to maintain and improve the tools that are used by our software development teams, proactively identifying issues and finding smart ways to resolve them.
Together with a supportive group of engineers, you will work on our CI infrastructure, test frameworks, version control systems, build tools, Jira maintenance, and much more. You will participate in the design and maintenance of build and deployment tools, setup of Jenkins pipelines, and monitoring of continuous integration.
Who we are looking for:
Experience working in an agile environment with IT operations (Linux and Windows)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle
A proactive, structured, and communicative team player who is eager to learn
Valuable, but not required:
Test automation, CI, and source control systems (e.g. Git)
Good knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, .NET, C#)
Virtualization/Container services (Kubernetes, oVirt/kvm, VMWare)
Cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
Configuration management and deployment tools (e.g. Ansible)
