Autonomous Transport Solutions is one of Scania's focus areas to achieve our goal of 'Driving the shift'. As Scania is part of the TRATON group we are together developing solutions within international teams to enable all our brands to deliver world-class products.
We are looking for a System Engineer working in our team refining our product as well as being the system owner of our "Robot" at Autonomous Transport Solution.
Assignment
You will be one of our System Engineers focusing on autonomous Hub 2 Hub solutions. As a system owner, you will be responsible for the definition and documentation of our autonomous Hub 2 Hub solution. You and your colleagues will define capabilities and system requirements based on our fast development loops in close cooperation with the other system engineers and architects. You will be analyzing different system levels and refining requirements as well as contributing to the product definition of our autonomous trucks. You will cover a wide span of the system and will be working closely with the product management team, the safety and security team, the developers as well as our system testers.

We are looking for you, a strong team player who is contributing to our common goal by being communicative, showing initiative, and being energized by challenges. You will need to work cross-functional with different groups within the organization and other Partners. Working in this dynamic field of autonomous vehicles you need to be flexible and eager to tackle new challenges.
For this position you need to have experience in:
• Software development and system engineering
• Requirement handling and traceability
• Structuring and refining requirements down to a solution
• System Ownership
• Safety and security standards for autonomous vehicles
You need to have a graduate or master's degree in engineering or equivalent (B.SC., M.SC., and/or Ph.D.). Fluency in English is mandatory.
