To provide the technical account management activities to help the sales team maximize revenueopportunities from new and existing accounts, either targeting specific vertical market sectors,specific product sets or a geographical region as agreed with your manager.
Place in the organization
This position reports into the SE Manager for the North region (based in Paris, France) and is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Description of position
The System Engineer is responsible for providing technical pre-sales support for field sales personnel. This includes performing the installation, configuration, and demonstration of Attachmate's full product line, delivering technical resentations to customers, developinganalytical solutions and implementing actions required to solve sales issues, coordinating appropriate corporate resources, providing communications to sales personnel and management,and escalating concerns when appropriate.
The System Engineer is also responsible for expanding product knowledge and technical skills that allow then to manage, build and deliver proof of concepts on emerging technology.
The System Engineer is responsible for explaining how Attachmate technology can fit into customer architecture, and to spot opportunities in this respect. The System Engineer may also have the additional responsibility of managing the escalation of critical issues in the territory.
