The target is to provide world leading technology for the rapidly growing market of AGVs and Mobile Robots. About 120 employees are working with product development, professional services, sales, marketing and finance.

About the position
As a System Architect you will be a part of our R&D department consisting of about 50 engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications and web services. The System Architect Team consists of one Lead Solution Architect and four System Architects, the team's purpose is to define and drive the technology strategy of our products. The primary activity is to investigate technical challenges and drive product development through design recommendations.

You will also be part of our Automatic Regression Test team, ART team, which develops the infrastructure for automating testing of our products. The team consists of three engineers and is characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit where your ideas get heard. There is a strong sense of integrity, product ownership, as well as commitment to provide the best testing platform for our engineers and colleagues. A workday as System Architect
As I commute with train to work, I usually starts my day reading literature in a specific topic I want to gain knowledge for my architect role. It can be quality for dev ops, system communication, software security or software systems architecture as a few examples

A day at the office usually starts with checking the status of our test framework which consists of an advanced network of HIL-rigs, Virtual machines, servers and databases. We always have a meeting in the morning where all colleges involved in QA gather to share information and discuss the actions for the day, it is a welcoming start of the day which leads to many different topics and tasks throughout the day. We work on HIL rig control, developing in python and Robot Framework, configurations and maintenance of Virtual Machines and servers, testcase development, architectural discussions and understanding our development teams needs from our test system.

This role gives you a unique insight in the company since the work spans from a strategic architect focus to hands on development and experimental work with the testing platform."

We are looking for you

You are collaborative in nature, because this role is about problem solving across team boundaries, fusing our many products together into a quality assured solution for our customers. An excellent problem-solver who takes ownership of areas of improvement.

To be successful and thrive in this role you must have:
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar.
Around five years of experience in software quality assurance (hardware and software testing).
Experience in test strategies and building test frameworks.
Knowledge in Python, since this is the foundation of our test framework.
Fluent English, both verbal and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with:

Computer networks, server systems and databases.
Interacting with hardware such as HIL rigs.
You are familiar with some of the tools of the trade such as GIT, Jenkins, Linux, Docker etc.
