Are you the business oriented team player we seek, ready to develop Supplier Management?
We are looking for two new experienced professionals open to grow, develop and contribute to our Supplier Management function within DSO CE.
In the roles you will work closely with our suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be part of a highly skilled team where your role will be to support the business and successfully drive to completion the tactical and strategic initiatives prioritised by Supplier Management, as well as to contribute to generating new ideas. You will work across the company, requiring close collaboration with all involved organisations and cross functional.
The positions will be based in Lund and you will report to Line Managers within Supplier Management Drawn Components Team or the Module and Equipment Team.
Main responsibilities
• Ensure deployment and successful implementation of commodity strategies
• Drive the supplier selection and development in accordance to commodity strategy, risk management, global process and new technology/product requirements
• Coordinate the product transfers of both parts and machines
• Lead and participate to continuous improvement activities
• Manage communication plans and report progress to governance forums
• Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with present and future business needs and demands
• Ensure supplier negotiations and agreements reflect current and future business needs
Qualifications
You possess a University degree within Economics, Engineering or similar. The positions demands an excellent level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills.
As a person you are a driver with strong analytic skills and execution of tasks.
You feel confident to cooperate with stake-holders, suppliers and colleagues, also at executive level to achieve the team goals and maintain effective working relationships. Furthermore you are motivated by building and implementing new ways of working and are open to change.
We will value experience within the field of project management, WCM and continuous improvement.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
