hela Sverige As SCM you will be the head of an experienced and highly performing team with great knowledge in commercial, technical, production, strategic and legal aspects. The team consists of approx.8 employees and you are responsible for the SCM team.
Your main mission will be to lead the team with sourcing and purchasing strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, ensure safety, quality, delivery performance and reliability of Suppliers and supplied products. You will be responsible to ensure execution in accordance with Company and Supply Chain Management performance targets. In the role you will have close collaboration with all departments at Power Transformers as well as Global Category Managers, Central Supply Chain Functions as well as cooperation with other Transformer units within ABB. Specific responsibilities:
• SCM execution with KPI scoreboard
• Strategic sourcing - Use the best suppliers on the globe with the right Terms & Conditions
• Active Supply Chain Management intelligence utilization, identify and drive cost reduction initiatives, benchmarks and analyses based on total cost of ownership (TCO) principles in order to reach financial targets
• Make or buy analysis and execution
• Collaborate with marketing & R&D to create a competitive position on the market
The successful candidate has previous management experience and has worked within SCM, marketing and sales, logistics or similar. You hold a Master's degree and may currently work in a similar business, such as the manufacturing industry. Technical experience from the transformer industry is considered a plus.
You enjoy leading, motivating and developing people, and you are used to building strong relationships with suppliers and/or customers. As a person you are highly self-motivated, organized, result-oriented, and strategic. Finally, you need to be fluent in English and Swedish.
