About the opportunity
We are currently looking for a Supply Chain and Production Manager to strengthen our Operations team. The Supply Chain and Production Manager is accountable for overseeing and managing company's overall supply chain, CMO production and logistics strategy and operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity, all aligned with the QMS and regulatory directives. Within this position you will have personnel responsibility for order processing and production/supply chain team.
Scope of Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operations of order processing, supply chain, logistics and production including the design of the organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
• Establish, develop, implement and monitor the supply chain and production strategy, plans and processes
• Support in company tactical initiatives
• Continuously optimize the production and supply chain to maximize efficiency and productivity and reduce cost
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes for supply chain and production
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the operational management team
• Full responsibility for leading and developing the staff, hiring and salary setting
• Supplier management including supplier assessment, supplier agreements and negotiations
• Strategy for managing spare part stock including ERP set-up
• CMO management
• Production forecasting
• Management representative for Production and supply chain in development projects
About you
• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent business experience from production, logistics and/or quality
• 5-10 years of experience in production and supply chain in a line/project management position, preferably in the field of medical device products
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Strong organizational skills and drive to build and develop teams and individuals
• High level of self-motivation and the ability to motivate team members
• High level of written and oral communication skills in English
• Ownership and drive to design, implement and monitor strategies, plans and procedures
• Experience in working with contractual agreements
• Negotiations skills
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturing
