MAX IV is a national large-scale research laboratory providing scientists from Sweden and the rest of the world with instruments for research in areas such as materials science, structural biology, chemistry and nanotechnology. Fully developed it will receive more than 2 000 scientists annually. 200 people are currently employed at the MAX IV Laboratory.
We are offering summer work for up to 6 weeks within the FemtoMAX team at MAX IV.
In this role, you will work in representing FemtomMAX beamline. You will have two tasks. The first one is to create and build a visual model of the FemtoMAX beamline using 3D printing and building tools. The second one is to make power point presentation describing the beamline and showing highlights from experiments.
We are looking for a summer worker with basic understanding of physics and chemistry. Knowledge of x-ray scattering, Bragg law and experience in working with 3D CAD software is an advantage. Computer representation skills and a good command of English are essential.
