hela Sverige As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in BRIS you will be part of our newly established Nordic cross-functional team. You will play an integral role in providing the expertise necessary to be a world-class business competence center, supporting risk and regulatory compliance needs of Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, Wealth Management or Group Functions.
The right candidates for the position are required to be agile, and able to work across various disciplines, with key strengths in 1 or more of the following areas:
Framework and Process expertise
• Interpreting and adapting the framework objectives into quality policies and procedures, coordinating input on business risk strategy and appetite, and providing feedback to strengthen risk framework and risk taxonomy
Report Review and Follow-up
• Aggregation of data systematically and effectively from the results of monitoring controls, mitigating activity, and Key Risk indicators.
• Performing meaningful, value-added analysis on the reported data and reporting to management the results
Business Continuity and Resilience
• Support, maintain, and advise on business continuity planning, including the performance and documentation of business impact analysis, and periodic testing of continuity and recovery plans.
Implementation and Training
• Project management and interfacing to projects and programs delivering on our risk agenda
• Supporting implementation of new risk processes,
• Promotion and coordination of change management processes
• Coordinating across BRIS and with 2nd lines of defence in assigning risk culture metrics
• Ongoing training and support within BRIS and with our customers
Regulatory expertise
• Working with in banking regulations and interpretation in how they are applied in practice to implement business processes and controls ensuring compliance.
• Keeping up to date on legislative changes.
• Preparation of clear, accessible instructions and guidelines, and to specify documentation requirements to ensure compliance
The role can be located in any of the Nordic capitals.
The qualifications you need
You have several years of hands-on risk and control experience and you possess a solid understanding and experience with project work and project methodology. You also have a University degree or equivalent experience.
You possess extensive knowledge of best practice techniques in the industry preferably covering the regulatory environment relevant for managing non-financial risk.
Key personal qualifications:
• Ability to independently draft proposals based on analyses and assessments while contributing to a great team performance
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply them to risk management processes and control designs
• Strong facilitation skills and an ability to interpret and transform identified risks and regulation into meaningful, practical oriented instructions using a structured approach.
• Stakeholder management skills to provide partnership and commercial insight with the business,
• Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
