Flexenclosure delivers appealing data centre buildings using modular steel structures. All eCentres are designed from the ground up for each customer's specific needs and requirements. We are now looking for a Structural Engineer to join our eCentre product team. You will be part of a team of 5 engineers and together we design data centers for our customers as well as participating in the development of the product in general. Flexenclosure delivers appealing data centre buildings using modular steel structures. Our systems are fully integrated, modular, factory tested for reliability, adaptable to local conditions and quick to install, with a short payback period and low long-term total cost of ownership.
Main responsibilities
In this position you will work with the manufacture of design drawings for steel, and bill of materials. This is performed with 3D modulations in Autodesk Inventor. You are responsible for the complete 3D model, everything from isolation and material to internal walls. The work includes contact with the suppliers responsible for the steel calculations of the modules. During the manufacturing you need to coordinate and keep a dialog with the steel contractor producing the steel modules. The work also includes answering questions from welding contractors.
Requirements
• Bachelor 's degree in Construction Engineering (alternative a 4-year pre-college technical education together with relevant work experience)
• At least 5 years of experience in steel construction
• Excellent skills in 3D-modelling in Autodesk Inventor (or similar programs e.g. Tekla or Revit)
• Knowledge in steel manufacturing
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Driving license
Previous experience in data center design and modular buildings is a great asset. Candidates who want to stand out would also be able to show us knowledge in AutoCAD. Knowledge in Swedish and Spanish is highly valued, but not demanded.
