Dynapac Compaction Equipment AB is a strong global company within construction business.
To safeguard the success of our company, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Purchaser who will focus on cost savings, develop supplier base and ensure that the materials, products and services meet customer expectations. Cross-functional work with other functions is important and you will take the lead within your commodity. The position requires travelling.
You will be based in in Karlskrona, Sweden and report to Strategic Purchasing team Manager.
Mission:
• Your mission is to safeguard a stable and positive development of the Total Cost of ownership (incl. Quality-, Delivery and Cost-parameters).
• With contracts, agreements and a strategic approach you provide conditions that will secure material supply in line with our targets.
• You actively participate in our product development projects, and you integrate our suppliers in the product development process
• You will together with Supplier Quality Assurance( SQA) team do supplier evaluations and Audits
• Commodity strategy - map supplier base, consolidate, optimize & develop supplier and material portfolio in collaboration with SQA and D&D
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
• You have a university degree or similar within a relevant field (quality and commercial/business)
• You are commercially oriented and have experience from strategic purchasing in an international organization and have good knowledge of contracts and business law, and solid negotiation skills
• Experience in steel commodity is a merit
Personal Skills and Attributes:
• Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Swedish
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
• A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others
• Focused, target driven with a positive, can-do attitude
