Svea Solar Utility Development AB is responsible for utility-scale (i.e., very large!) projects. Our own solar park portfolio includes Fjällskär (20.7 MW), Hörby (18.2 MW) and others, accounting for 49 MW of operational assets and another 54 MW of assets under construction, including an agrivoltaic park construction in Hova.
With such a volume of operations and the exciting complexity of the business, we are now looking for a Strategic Project Buyer to Svea Solar Utility Development AB.

The role
You are part of a diversified team of leading professionals within the solar industry. The scope of the role is to drive end-to-end sourcing and procurement to deliver the best-in-class CAPEX agreement. You'll also be responsible for procuring our modules, inverters, mounting systems and transformers for our large-scale solar parks. Responsibilities * Commercial project management of the end-to-end sourcing process by coordinating with a multidisciplinary project team. * Set negotiation strategies and lead intensive commercial and contractual negotiations to achieve the best business results. * Act as a liaison between our company and suppliers with aligned communication strategies and managing stakeholders to drive an efficient decision-making process. * Explore new technologies and solutions to improve the solar offering continuously. * Collaborate with the group Procurement department within Svea Solar to leverage processes, scale and scope. * Support Sales and Development team in tenders * Source new suppliers. * Execute purchasing procedures (such as sourcing, RFx, negotiations, contracting, renewals, supplier on/offboarding) * Contribute to the category analytics and support on data quality of the assigned categories. * Build, develop and maintain sustainable supplier relationships, and long-term partnerships where relevant. * Act towards external and internal partners in accordance with Svea Solar values. * Ensure compliance of suppliers with Svea Solar Code of Conduct within the assigned categories and manage the associated risks. * Manage the supplier portfolio within assigned categories, considering a wide variety of factors, such as vendor performance, quality, collaboration efficiency, sustainability, risks and costs. * Identify and implement strategies and actions to enable and deliver improvements over the supplier portfolio (cost, quality, timeliness, technology, sustainability, risk, availability, innovation). * Manage and drive risk assessments for the supplier base within the assigned categories, follow-up, manage and act on said risks with suppliers to Svea Solar's best interests. * Take an active part in phasing in/out of products and services within the assigned categories. * Identify and present actions to improve ways of working within the procurement team and with other stakeholders. * Contribute to team and department OKRs and create and follow up with actions on relevant KPIs and OKRs. * Set up priorities for and with stakeholder demands based on data and expected impact. * Handle contract renewals and negotiations * Drive supplier-led innovation together with relevant stakeholders. * Contribute to forecasts for budget, costs and demand planning within the assigned categories.
Are we a match?
To succeed in this role, we hope your experience contains:
Several years of experience in strategic procurement or project purchasing, preferably within the energy, industrial, construction, or other technology-intensive sectors.
Experience in CAPEX procurement (large investment projects) and the entire end-to-end sourcing process (from needs analysis to contract).
Previous experience working with multidisciplinary project teams (engineers, project managers, finance, etc.).
Experience in identifying and qualifying new suppliers globally.
Meritorious: experience within renewable energy (e.g., solar, wind, power grid).
