This is a full-time position based out of Liquid Swords legendary HQ in Nacka, Sweden (10 minutes from the city of Stockholm) in a no-nonsense studio built by concrete and metal. We follow all governments recommendations regarding Covid-19 pandemic and will ensure a safe work environment if you choose to work at the office or from home.
What you'll be doing
As the Story Director at Liquid Swords you will work with the Design team to create a narrative for our world, characters and our story. You report to the Game Director and you will also collaborate with other World designers to create a believable and authentic narrative. Joining our team now, means that you will be a part of creating video games history, working on the early concept of our next-generation action packed open-world experience.
Is this you?
You are an experienced Story- or Narrative director with experience from several medias such as comic books, traditional novels or film/TV. Your experience from working with open-world games and the complex narrative design is something that will come to great use in the development of Liquid Swords first game.

Video games development studio Liquid Swords was founded in 2020 by Christofer Sundberg. The mission is to develop highly action focused video games for an adult core audience, with a strong focus on delivering deep and highly entertaining experiences of the highest quality.
The games are based on original intellectual properties created by Christofer Cundberg and his team, who previously have created the +18m selling franchise 'Just Cause' as well as The_Hunter, Mad Max, Generation zero, Rage 2 and Renegade Ops. Other members of the team have been playing key roles in the development of such games as Mirror's Edge, the Battlefield franchise and the Pay Day franchise.
Our ambitions are high and we intend to quickly carve out our space in the open world genre and create open-world game franchises where depth and quality are keywords. Needless to say, we have the experience but also the team and the right game to be off for a great start.
We are a well-financed start-up and we measure our success with the release of fantastic AAA experiences. We want to work with YOU as an individual and use all your talent and experience to build this game experience.
