About Group IT
Swedbank Group IT is located in Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. We are 1400 employees responsible for running the bank, developing and maintening business strategic and central systems in Swedbank.
All development is managed in projects and we deliver approximately 600 projects and pre-studies during a business year.
Through understanding and acting from the needs of our internal customers, we offer the group competitive IT-solutions which support new products and high level services to our clients.
A person with deep knowledge about configuration handling, build & deploy in WebSphere and UNIX environments is what we're looking for. You will be working closely with the release team, the performance test team, the development projects (outsourced and In-house) and the production teams.
About the unit
TDE Java support is a unit within IT Delivery in Swedbank, Group IT. The unit's mission is to have the overall responsibility for Group IT projects and SLA delivery portfolio. Supply Management is a department within the Division IT Delivery. We have the overall responsibility to secure the Group IT delivery capacity through supply management, including resource, competence and vendor management. The responsibility of the Resource Pools for senior Project and Test Managers as well as the DBA Resource Pool also lies within Supply Management Department.
About the job
TDE Java manages the configuration data and tools for handling the java environments in local, test, QA and production environments. We support more than 200 developers and about 100 test environments with automated builds, deployments and configurations. For accomplishing that we use a number of tools like: Rational Application Developer for WebSphere (RAD), our CruiseControl based automated build system, the IBM WebSphere adminconsole and various Unix scripts. We also use a locally developed application for handling deliveries, and a locally developed JMX-based framework for promoting configurations onto target environments. We are moving into using Rational Team Concert (RTC) as our version control system, and Rational Automation Framework (RAF) as our configuration handler. We also act as a level 1 support for the release team and the production team.
Today we are 13 people in the team. 4 of us work as integrators/specialists placed at Stora Essingen and 2 integrators in Bangalore, India.
About you
You enjoy working in an international environment and have good communication and presentation skills. You appreciate working in a very competent team and deliver high quality in time. You possess good planning and prioritizing skills to manage a varied workload.
Your experience:
• Deep knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server and UNIX
• Knowledge of Build tools e.g. Jenkins, Cruise Control
• Knowledge of RAD8
• Knowledge of General Release process
• Fluent Swedish and good at English, both in spoken and written form
