What will you work with?
As the Solution Leader, you will drive the dialog with the Volvo Penta business regarding the exciting future development of IT solutions, as well as the stability of the implemented solutions supporting the manufacturing area.
To understand the business opportunities and concerns, you will in this role also visit and interact with organizations within your domain area including plant visits. As the Solution Leader you will actively participate in projects for implementing new solutions or improve existing ones - all to support the Volvo Penta manufacturing.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the ability to pick up improvement areas and together with stakeholders on the IT and business side define and drive initiatives to implement solutions. We believe you share our values which reflects in your daily work and in your leadership. If you on top of this have knowledge about manufacturing applications and are used to collaborate with external partners we think you are a great match.
To be successful in this role we believe you have relevant university degree and leadership experience. We believe you have knowledge in manufacturing and industry. You have managed vendor relations and have excellent communication skills. If you are familiar with Volvo Penta or working with IT delivery in other companies this is a bonus. We also think that if you have experience from the supply chain domain this is beneficial for this role.
Location:
This position will be located in Sweden. The Swedish operation of Volvo Penta is mainly based in Gothenburg, but we also have a factory in Vara. This means that you can be located in either Gothenburg or Vara, but Skövde (with regular visits to Vara) is also an option

Business Areas & Group Functions Solutions is a global unit within Group IT. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the Group Functions and the Business Areas are managed in an optimal way.
In this role you will belong to the unit Solution Center Penta and more specifically the department ERP and Supply Chain which is supporting Penta and is responsible to drive runtime and onetime deliveries according to the global solutions agenda.
