PRD Solution Unit
Produce & Distribute (PRD) Solution Unit is a global unit within Group IT in charge of all IT deliveries related to Produce & Distribute solutions. The mission of the unit is to ensure that the Volvo Group 's IT solutions and IT projects within the area are managed in an optimal way.
Solution Center GTO Logistic Services
The Solution Center"GTO Logistic Services" is responsible for all deliveries related to solutions in its scope i.e. all the globally appointed IS/IT solutions for GTO Logistic Services The Solution Center "GTO Logistic Services" has full responsibility for runtime (cost, quality of service) and for the delivery of projects.
The Solution Center "GTO Logistic Services" is supporting roadmap design and long term planning in its area. It is then responsible for driving deliveries according to the global solutions agenda.
The function is staffed with its own resources, and then complemented with resources coming from the Shared IT Services and possibly SAP organizations to fulfill the various deliveries. The total delivery capacity is approximately 50 FTEs.
Group SC GTO LS - Logistics Management Support
The Group "Logistics Management Support" is responsible for delivering solutions supporting cross functional processes in Logistics Services i.e. Master Data, Customer Compliance, Finance, Business Intelligence etc. LMS is globally responsible for the appointed solutions e.g. GLOPPS, C4V, LES VC, LS Data Warehouse
The function consists of Solution Leaders, Solution Experts, Team Leaders, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Delivery Manager complemented with resources coming from Shared IT Services, SAP organization and Business administration.
We are now looking for a Solution Expert!
In this role you will be reporting to the Delivery Manager SC GTO LS - LMS
As Solution Expert (SE) you will manage a single or small group of solutions and their lifecycle in line with Volvo Group IT strategy, rules and framework and business demands in the supported process. You will be overall responsible for quality assurance of related end user business support. Your day to day work will include management of a network of key users and business representatives.
In the role as SE you will support in continuous improvement work of the solution including managing release plans and approve IT deliverables from the supplier. You will also be involved in new development project and perform solution implementations and/or manage the business configuration of the solution.
This position refers to one SE for LES Value Chain -
Pricing of transport sales orders and invoicing of transport services as well as cost calculation of purchase orders and invoice control of incoming transport invoices.

Critical Competencies and Skills
• University degree in Computer Science / Engineering in Logistics or Supply Chain or Industrial technology
• A good understanding of both business and IT and the capability to actively use Information Technology to develop the business
• Good understanding of process and solution dependencies and interfaces
• Functional knowledge in SAP will be considered as a strong merit
• Logistics /Supply Chain knowledge from GTO - Logistics Services is a plus
• Experience in Financial processes
• Long experience of working in project implementation and functional development
• Good communication skills to give support and training
• Good presentation skills
• Analytical mindset
• Problem solver
