About the job
In this position you're responsible for leading the architectural evaluation, planning, and design of new and adapted solutions to support our overall business vision - including seamless flows and automation. You work closely with key business teams, domain experts and delivery teams; ensuring that business goals and customer needs are incorporated into the technical vision. All in all, you're our expert and go-to-person who's leading the technology aspect of our business optimization- embracing modern architectural paradigms to maximize architectural agility.
Other important parts of your job are:
Translating business requirements into architectural blueprints in order to meet customer expectations and achieve business objectives.
Guiding and steering external vendors as well as internal product teams to realize the architectural vision
Contributing with your holistic perspective and create needed design and implementation approaches
Taking responsibility for the quality of the complete landscape and portfolio for your area of responsibility and ensuring that functional as well as non-functional requirements are met
The location for this position is flexible but closeness to key stakeholders in the following locations is preferred; Sweden (Fagersta or Stockholm), UK (Alcester), US (Troy), Italy (Guanzate) or India (Pune). Some travel is included in your job.
Who you are
We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in computer science or the equivalent knowledge gained from work. You have solid experience of working with solution architecture in a global context and are familiar with modern architectural set-ups and design patterns, as well as tight collaboration with Enterprise Architects. You're used to working in an agile environment and collaborating with colleagues to identify, evaluate and design solutions that increase business value and to align technical delivery with business needs. Working in a truly global environment calls for excellent English skills, while knowledge in Swedish or Hindi is a plus.

Solution architecture methodologies and frameworks
Broad and up to date technical competence
Agile product team setups as well as traditional project organizations
Product/Solution evaluations
Microsoft product flora
