About the Assignment
We are looking for a senior Solution Architect with strong cross-system design capabilities to define end-to-end solution architecture within Customer Management. You will work closely with a Domain Architect to align with target architecture and harmonisation goals, partnering with Tech Leads and business stakeholders to ensure technical and business feasibility across the landscape.
The environment spans Microsoft Dynamics 365/Dataverse, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Java-based microservices. The focus is on architecture and governance-implementation-level coding or configuration is not part of this role.
Job DescriptionDefine end-to-end solution architecture for Customer Management, including lead management, customer and organisation modelling, consent and governance flows, and customer lifecycle processes.
Design system interactions, integration boundaries, and data contracts between Dynamics 365, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Java-based services, and external lookup providers.
Ensure consistency with domain capability maps and the target architecture in collaboration with the Domain Architect.
Define and govern API specifications, event schemas, integration patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Create and maintain C4 models and document architectural decisions (ADRs), NFRs, risks, assumptions, and constraints.
Collaborate with Tech Leads and Business Analysts to validate runtime behaviour, feasibility, journey logic, and business rules without taking on implementation responsibilities.
Contribute architecture input to governance forums and support architecture review processes.
RequirementsSenior solution architecture experience with strong cross-system design capability.
Ability to define end-to-end customer flows across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Java-based microservices.
Dynamics 365 / Dataverse: conceptual customer/organisation model design and source-of-truth structures.
Java / microservices: REST APIs, event-driven design, and clear integration boundaries.
Customer data architecture: identity resolution, enrichment, deduplication, and consent models.
API-first and event-first integration patterns.
C4 modelling, ADR documentation, and NFR definition.
Experience working in multi-country or multi-domain environments.
Ability to communicate clearly with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, translating requirements into governed and maintainable architecture.
Nice to haveTelecom or subscription-based business model knowledge.
Experience harmonising architecture across multiple markets.
Understanding of repair/insurance flows or aftermarket customer processes.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud: integration patterns, real-time triggers, data extensions, and API/webhook contracts.
