Diagnostics & Software is a Digital Delivery within Digital & IT. We are responsible for developing the next generation Diagnostic Service Platform which is a key enabler for our digital transformation for the future. We are involved in developing services in the areas like Proximity and Remote Vehicle Diagnostics, Embedded Diagnostics, Prognostics, Over the Air Update of complete vehicle, Fault Tracing and various other future product capabilities targeting multiple platforms. We are now seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Azure who has the drive and passion to contribute to our digital transformation and who sees that the key to success is to develop the organization and its people to meet future business challenges.

Your main activities and responsibilities
As an experienced Solution Architect, you will lead and coordinate architectural work across different teams in the agile release train. You will define and develop the strategic and tactical direction of our full stack architecture. As part of a global unit, you will actively cooperate with various stakeholders with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
You will be involved in designing and maintaining the architecture views, models, and target architecture for the solutions and drive the work to identify and reduce the technical debt. You will also contribute to the implementation (hands on) of our software components.
You will stay up-to date in architectural trends & relevant industry models and be a mentor for other developers, architects in the team.
Your background
We are now looking for our next piece to the puzzle. We expect you to have a solid background as a Solution Architect along with a relevant university degree. You have experience from working with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS or GCP), preferably with a certification in any of the services. Adding to this you have knowledge in container services (Kubernetes & Openshift). You also are familiar with using the programming languages C#, .Net or Typescript.
In addition to above you should have/be:
Proficient in at least one architecture diagram tool (Draw.IO, Enterprise Architect, Visio)
Knowledge about market-standard authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect)
Additional experience in any of the below techniques will be considered a merit:
Microsoft Azure application services experience (APIM, Functions, App Service, FrontDoor, Key Vault)
JS frontend framework experience (React, Angular, Polymer)
Azure Devops YAML pipelines
SonarQube knowledge
