Software Tester - Stockholm
About the Position
ALS Life Sciences are seeking to strengthen their LIMS development and support team and are looking for a dynamic and flexible Software Tester. Working as part of a growing global team the Software Tester will be responsible for working with current testing systems as well as innovating and suggesting improvements. We are an Agile team and our testers will be fully integrated in the development
The position will be responsible for:
• Compiling and managing test plans, test cases/scripts, test reports and evaluations
• Creating and implementing any changes to test plans to ensure all software functions are thoroughly tested
• Performing quality assurance testing including acceptance, functional and exploratory on new software releases and reporting discrepancies
• Coordinating user acceptance testing on new software releases and report discrepancies
• Assisting in the compilation of user documentation and facilitating user training
• Taking part in global software testing group discussions and contributing to the global testing ecosystem
• Communication with the development team and key stakeholders
• Demonstrating the willingness to take on other duties when required
About you:
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a minimum of two years' experience working as a Software tester
• Be educated to degree of level or equivalent in a relative subject
• Have knowledge of manual and automated testing
• Hold excellent analytical skills
• Have experience in using test tools as Microsoft Test Manager and Visual Studio Online
• Have knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle and experience of working as a tester within an agile team
• Have experience working with relational databases such as MS SQL
