What we're looking for is a testing expert to our team of developers. You'll perform exploratory testing as well as be the tester mind we need when planning features and figuring out how to test them. The products you'll work with ranges from web UIs and mobile apps to hardware integration of cameras and real time alarm handling systems. This means we value your curiosity and ability to learn these systems over wanting to specialize in one of them.
This need for a broad skillset might sound intimidating but first of all we don't expect you to know all these things when you arrive and second of all; education and personal growth are areas where Verisure Innovation stand out so you'll be given plenty of opportunities to acquire these skills over time.
You'll join a small scrum team where your passion and skillset will impact how we work with test in this team. Despite being the only tester in the team you won't be alone. We have an experienced test coach to aid you, the product owner you'll work with is a former tester and Verisure Innovation has an active test community in general.
To function well we expect you to, apart from having a broad technical skillset, thrive in conditions where you're given a high level of freedom and responsibility. You've likely worked a few years as a tester or in a technical role (e.g. developer) where test has been a central part of what you do. We're all about winning as a team so collaboration, communication and respect for your colleagues are important personal attributes.
Our office space is located in central Linköping with a park just outside our building and only a 15 minutes' walk from the Central Station.
