Are you an experienced Software Quality Engineer or a development engineer with good leadership skills and ready for a new challenge?
We are dedicated to electrify our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of Propulsion Energy Systems, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.
As Software Quality Assurance Engineer towards in-house developed software (SWQAi) within the group SW integration and Test you will be responsible to assess (measure) the quality of work products and facilitate that potential SW quality problems are identified as early as possible in the development process.
Main responsibilities
* Assure that the defined SW processes and methods are used and that their related work products (such as requirement documents, plans etc.) are developed with intended quality
* Proactively act and recommend activities and decisions that affect the projects ability to reach defined targets
* Support the Project Leaders to identify and manage the items and assignments that lead to that the project's quality targets, checkpoints and key activities are fulfilled
* Provide internal training in SW Engineering and Quality Assurance where needed
* Review processes, procedures, templates, and report deviations and lacks in the definition of processes, procedures etc
* Assist in maintenance and development of processes, procedures, templates etc
Required qualifications
* BSc in Mechatronics, Automation, CS or equivalent. MSc is considered meritorious
* Experience from software development methodology
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
Meritorious:
* Profound knowledge of SW and/or HW engineering
* Quality assurance experience
* Knowledge of SW maturity models (ISO15504, Automotive SPICE, CMMi, etc)
