DeLaval is looking to further develop our expertise in driving projects in a sector, that helps the world consume products in a sustainable way, and is now looking for a Software Project Manager to the Project Management Office.
You will work to clarify and align the project plans to secure efficiency and a clear and understandable goal for the project as well as for the Stakeholders. Your focus will be Software, but it's necessary to see the bigger picture and understand the interface between hardware and mechanics in the development of the future products for DeLavals customers.
Key Responsibilities and deliverables:
• Plan and monitor the software projects and support the project leaders.
• Make sure the software projects are aligned with the hardware and mechanical projects.
• Communication and visualization of plans within the software program as well as to stakeholders and adjacent projects. Visualize and facilitate the increments in the Jira tool.
• Facilitate increment planning together with scrum teams and product owners.
• Always strive for continuous development.
You'll work with about 10 team with 80 members mainly in Sweden and Poland all contributing to a successful project delivery and you will as well interact with colleagues in US, China and New Zeeland with a huge possibility to make a positive impact on both people and products. This position is located in Tumba, Sweden.
Your qualifications:
• University degree in business administration, IT or equivalent business experience.
• Clear evidence of successful complex software project management.
• Good strategic capability and ability to communicate with both business/strategic stakeholders and technical development teams.
• Good knowledge and understanding of software development in a large R&D organization. Experience of mechanics is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiar with target setting methodologies with regular follow-ups.
• Solid experience from agile methodology.
• Experience of Jira or other Project Management Programs is a big plus.
