We participate in Volvo IT Global Application Delivery?s projects as well as in our Business Areas and Business Units different activities. We are taking an active part in the method development deliveries with several resources participating in ADT's service deliveries in the test & SCM area (e.g. coaching and training).
Job description:
As Software Configuration Manager you have a clear understanding of how to handle project and run time needs of Software Configuration Management.
As consultant in the Configuration Management group you will be working with different software configuration efforts, such as software configuration planning, introducing SCM processes and tools, software build and deployment management.
We hope you are a person that are creative and innovative and that can motivate your coworkers. You have a good vision for problem analysis and solving. Also you have a holistic view as well as an eye for details. You need to be service minded and have a strong customer focus and high communications skills.
Qualifications:
We are now looking for you that are skilled in the software configuration area.
Senior:
• Experienced in system development
• Experience in using and managing tools within SCM (Clearcase/ClearQuest, Jira, Subversion, Git, TFS)
• Experience in scriptning VB / Perl
• Deep knowledge within the SCM area methods and processes
• Also you need to have a minimum of five years of documented experience of IT software development with focus on Configuration Management
Junior:
• 3 years of experience of system development
• Experience of scriptning VB / Perl
• Interest in Software Configuration Management and version handling tools and build tools
For this position you need to have general knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process and you also need to have leadership skills. If you have experience in agile project or experience from consultancy work is this an advantage.
The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player. You have to have the ability establish and maintain good relations and also have the ability to work in global, multi-cultural organization. You are proactive and have a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve your knowledge. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
