hela Sverige We at Adecco Tech are currently seeking a Software Asset Manager for our client within the automotive industry. Our client is expanding and are now looking for a Software Asset Manager to complement their team. If you possess strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a background within software agreements this could be the opportunity for you!
About the role
As a Software Asset Manager you will play a crucial role in our SAM team, focusing on financial, contractual, and inventory functions to support life cycle management and strategic decision-making for the IT environment. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively within a small team, engaging with various stakeholders, including business functions, IT Product Teams, Purchasing, Legal, Security, External Partners, and Vendors.
In your role as Software Asset Manager, your main tasks will include:
• Reviewing software agreements.
• Conducting stakeholder management to ensure collaboration across different departments.
• Understanding vendor offerings of software and providing tailored solutions for customers to optimize their software assets.
• Supporting the entire lifecycle of software asset management (SAM) and software applications.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the SAM tools domain (Experience with OpenIT and OpenLM is an advantage).
• Monitoring data quality and initiating remediation activities.
• Previous experience managing license servers is an advantage.
• Driving asset metering improvements to enable data-driven decision-making.
About you
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and characteristics:
• Experience in Software Asset Management.
• Familiarity with SAM tools such as OpenIT, OpenLM, Flexera, Snow, etc.
• Pragmatic, accurate, analytical, structured, and efficient.
• Experience in working with data analytics and software such as PowerBI.
• Previous experience working with license servers.
• Familiarity with common IT systems such as SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, etc.
Important for the role:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in managing software agreements.
• Proven experience in driving improvements and optimizing software assets.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on varied tasks as needed.
