Are you a person with strong customer focus together with technical and management skills? Are you enjoying challenges and looking for a role where you will be the ambassador for Tetra Pak at our customers during line installations?
Business Unit Cheese & Powder Systems are now looking for a Site Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for integration of all site based activities in connection with customer projects, such as project planning, cost monitoring, installation coordination, OH&S activities, fulfilment of compliance and contact with sub-contractors.
You will be based in Lund, reporting to the Director Cheese & Powder Projects within Tetra Pak Processing Systems, but naturally the role requires extensive travelling both regionally and globally, depending on work load, 150-250 travel days/year.
Main responsibilities
• Break down, plan and follow up of site activities including.
• Create a quality plan and follow-up of quality activities on site
• OH&S responsible for all site activities covered by the scope of project
• Communication of site activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Drive and document customer meetings
• Be the undisputable leader for Tetra Pak resources at site
• Drive improvement or development of processes and tools in the area of Site management
Qualifications
We are looking for a self-motivated person with high integrity. You know how to exercise informal leadership and you possess excellent communication skills and are able to create buy-in with relevant stakeholders. You are diplomatic and able to find common ground and can cope with both conflict and change. You pay attention to details in combination with an ability to see the project in a larger context.
Since you are expected not only to manage, but also to take active part in the installation-, commissioning- and validation activities at our customer sites you must have a solid technical background. We expect you have approx. 5 years' experience working at site either as installation supervisor or commissioning leader depending on education. As our customers are located all over the world a fluency in English, both written and spoken is required.
