Academic Work recruitment is looking for a competent Incident and Problem Manager for recruitment to Skanska IT Nordic.
About the company
The delivery organisation consists of two delivery departments, infrastructure services and application services. In the delivery there is a strategic goal to deliver IT more process oriented based on ITIL best practices. You will be part of a cross Nordic team in the Infrastructure Delivery organisation. This organization consists of about 80 employees working with Servers, Databases, Desktop, Communication, Technical on Site and Service desk. Your daily work will be cross both the Infrastructure and Application department.
Job description:
In the role of Incident and Problem Manager you will design, implement, operate and follow up the appointed processes. You will be the responsible person for producing reports and management information ensure cross functional capabilities (resolution groups, suppliers) to ensure SLA targets, handling critical incident and be the single point contact in these situations. You will also be the person responsible for management of problems and follow up and measure the improvements over time. In long term the process landscape will grow and responsibilities for other processes can be an opportunity and integration with other processes will be an important task.
As this role is new to Skanska ITN, it is a great opportunity to develop both the role and the processes deemed necessary providing you have the adequate competence, drive and aptitude.
Most of the current deliveries are local and Nordic and some are Global. The trend is that more deliveries will be Nordic and Global in the near future.
Requirements:
• Long experience and deep knowledge in delivering of IT components and Services
• Relevant education in ITIL or other process oriented education
• You need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken
Experience of technical project management or management of IT related deliveries in a process oriented organization is an advantage. Another advantage is a relevant degree within IT.
As a person you are structured and work well under time pressure. You are self-going and contribute to the work environment at Skanska, by taking on own initiatives and share new ideas. Problem solving is one of your specialities and you are a great coordinator.
