Job Description:

Role Mission

The Service Lead is mainly responsible for a set of services for multiple customer, it's development, quality, economy and life cycle planning, as well as the delivery and support of it.

Service here means a uniquely identified package of software and hardware, available for order and delivery. It might very well consist of different components, in terms of functions, features and sub products.

Responsibilities and Powers

Business
• Authorised to make agreements which fall within the tasks / frameworks given by the client / project manager / account manager.

Work
The Service Lead is accountable for:

• Manage service offerings in a global matrix organization, bridging geographical and cultural gaps and positioning global standards to best satisfy local customer demand

• Service financial management, quality and customer satisfaction

• Reporting of all delivered service volumes for customer invoicing

• Reporting of all delivered services quality and performance measurements

• Budgeting for service cost and service structure changes

• Financial planning and follow-up on monthly and annual basis

• Reporting & managing all deviations to budget and/or forecast

• Establishing service and version plans on yearly basis and managing lifecycle

• initiating service improvement activities

• participate in customer's enhancement and development activities
• information and documentation about the service, like Service description, road map etc
• Participating in calculation and planning of development and operation activities.
• Driving work in regards of Request able Item and Request able Unit for the service
• Proposing changes which make the system more efficient and / or reduce operation or maintenance costs.
• Involved in pre-sales activities

The Service Lead will interact with the following roles:

• Technical Lead and Architect
• Delivery Lead
• Delivery Manager
• Business Controller
• Project Manager

Education and / or Experience Recommended

Skills & Knowledge:

This position requires very strong financial analysis and planning capabilities together with sufficient networking and telecommunications knowledge in order to represent service offerings, participate in functional steering of the service area, and collaborate with Technical Lead and Delivery Lead in an effective manner.

There is an expectation to continually drive productivity and efficiency gains in the Service, and this requires a thorough understanding of Service financial basis and the technical drivers.

Specific skills and knowledge include:

• Sufficient technical knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, network security, and telecommunications to allow for collaborative discussions in Service planning and implementation

• SAP R3 basic skills from a planning and analysis perspective

• Good communication and Customers/Services mindset skills in order to complete proposal documentation and to conduct professional relations with external vendors and customers, and managers.
• Good analytics ability skills in order to complete requirements quotations and reports analysis
