In Linköping, we're developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you'll do?
You will be responsible for development, specification and evaluation of sensors within the camera- and vision system. In your role, you will have a broad contact area with colleagues within different disciplines and with external suppliers. You will be part of a tight team where everyone helps each other and contributes to the daily work in ongoing projects.
Your daily tasks will consist of handling requirements, creating specifications of sensor performance, evaluation studies to ensure performance within vision systems. You will be expected to drive and transact studies to find improvements in processes, methods and products/systems. You will analyze presented sensor solutions theoretically as well as through measurements. As a sensor expert you will also handle the support towards manufacturing.
You will have the opportunity to drive tasks from start to finish - from idea, through design and test, towards implementation in manufacturing. You will be a driving part in the development of methodology and processes within the department.
What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we anticipate you have a Masters Degree (or equivalent experience) within Engineering Physics or Electrical Engineering and experience of CMOS sensor technology. We also anticipate you have:
• CMOS image sensor evaluation measurement and analysis
• Design experience of products that includes CMOS image sensors
• Understanding of image quality impact on algorithms and functions
• Basic understanding of physics and optics, imaging system and optical measuring techniques
• Experience using MATLAB, preferably including Image Processing Toolbox
• Experience of Fault Tree Analysis and FMEA is desirable
• Experience of automotive industry is meritorious
Personal traits that we see fit for the challenges for this position are the ability to plan, as well as having a high level of quality awareness. We believe that you are curious, creative and energetic. You also need to be responsible and accurate. It will be an advantage to have previous experience of tutoring fellow colleagues and are accustomed to presenting results. It would be advantageous if you are used to handling customers and suppliers and have the ability to lead supplier evaluations with a focus on technical issues.
