The Connectivity Validation is part of Smartphone and Platform Solutions (SPS) Validation and Quality at ST-Ericsson. The team is responsible for verifying the Connectivity functional areas WLAN, Bluetooth, Positioning, ANT+, NFC and FM Radio. The verification is focused on functionality, performance, pre-certification and IOT testing.

You will work with connectivity validation, which means to:

• Be involved in the full project life cycle, analyze system requirements, design and document new test cases, validate and implement test cases and test the platform with focus on connectivity functionality
• Design test cases that are developed to be compliant in a highly automated test environment. Test execution is also a part of the scope and regardless of methods used, the outcome should be to find errors from a user perspective
• Find issues before our customers and give quality statements

Competence:

• M. Sc. or B. Sc degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years work experience in verification
• Deep knowledge in testing methods and desire to break the system
• Good insight in open OS such as Android and familiarity with embedded Linux
• Programming knowledge in Java, C, C++ and Python or similar programming language
• Connectivity knowledge
• Need to have a desire to work with software testing and the ambition to have both a broad system view together with a deep detailed knowledge of the domains
• Social skills and an open mind are essential as interacting with a global organization is a large part of the daily work
• Problem solving eagerness combined with thoroughness
• Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
