Visual Act is looking for a System Engineer with aspirations towards a project manager role and with strong system focus and good understanding for the integration of software, electronics and mechanics.We develop and manufacture advanced technology for theentertainment industry, as a System Engineer at Visual Act you will be part of and support theproduct- and software development team.
We want to create powerful theater experiences and spectacular TV-shows, as a System Engineer you will work with everything that takes place behind the scenes and in the border between technology and scenography. Our systems get physical objects like cameras, decorations and even people to move three-dimensional on scenes all over the world! Visual Act has had several prestigious assignments, ranging from Celine Dion in Las Vegas to Disney and the Olympics in Sotji.
About the role
As a system engineer you will have a very central role in the development, electrician- and mechanical team, the role will involve development, sales, project management and some personnel management.You will have the responsibility for the overall requirement and design for the product and have a great opportunity to make an impact.
In this role you are often a key-person in cross-functional contexts, where all disciplines of the organization are represented. Typical questions are how different functions should interact to achieve the best possible product. You will take great responsibility throughout your project from start to finish, and work closely with our customers, suppliers and colleagues. As a person you are a fast learner and if you want to work with automation and problem solving, you will like it here.
Your background
• You have a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
• You have at least 3 years' experience in embedded systems with specialization in electronics or software.
It would be great if you have..
• Experience within mechatronics
• Experience in automation and/or regulatory engineering
• Experience as a team leadand/or project manager
