hela Sverige We are seeking an experienced Solutions Designer to work in close collaboration with Project Managers, Industry Consultants, Technology Consultants and Data Modelers on engagements.
This is a multi-faceted role part of end-to-end project delivery as well as in pre-sales cycles for business exploration.
The solutions designer will be responsible for the delivery of the design work stream for BIXC's services delivery and must have a deep understanding of the fine points of the data arena: Business Intelligence, Data warehousing, Big Data, data usage, tools and analytics.
You will be responsible for translating the business needs into efficient solutions in strategic business systems. You will be analyzing new requirements, identifying change needs, assessing the impact of changes on existing solutions and suggest actions to be taken.

You will be responsible for the full SD workstream using industry standard methodologies and processes, including but not limited to -
• Analyze incoming data requests and determine appropriate target solutions for specific requests.
• Work very closely with business analysts, development teams and project managers for requirements and business rules.
• Enterprise Master data management experience
• Partner with source system Subject Matter Experts (SME)s, Architects, Data Analysts and Modelers to build scalable and performant data solutions.
• Effectively communicate data design to other members of the team to ensure proper implementation and utilization of the data structures.
• Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing
• Work with DBAs in Enterprise Database Management group to troubleshoot problems and optimize performance
• Effectively work in an ETL framework driven environment
• Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA and Production environments
• Act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
• Provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs.
• Develop original and/or highly complex code and provides coding guidance to less experienced staff.
• Lead and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts.
• Verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
• Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
• Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
You must have high levels of self-motivation, excellent relationship management and the ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders in industry-appropriate terminology.
We look for the below skills in an ideal candidate:
• 8+ years of application design, development and implementation experience
• Degrees in Business Management, Computer Application or other related areas
• Familiarity with both traditional and agile IT project delivery and development cycles
• Workshop, meeting facilitation and interviewing experience
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, with experience preparing and managing documentation for senior executives
• Industry experience from one or more areas (e.g., finance, insurance, retail,Telecom)
• Data warehousing, Big data, Hadoop, data modelling and data analysis
• Data architecture and structures
• Solid experience with databases such as Oracle DB2, SQL server or Teradata
• Data analysis and data modelling (Industry data model knowledge and experience such as Teradata CLDM, FS-LDM, Oracle Communication Data Model etc.)
• Enterprise Master Data Management experience
• Requirements management tools: JIRA, Jama, Trello
• BI tools: specification, development and use (e.g. Tableau/Qlikview/BO)
• Data Lineage - Reference data management tools knowledge
• Detail focused, resourceful, decisive, composed, problem-solver, flexible and adaptable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and customer service; able to manage complex relationships and organizations
• Organizational competence and the ability to communicate at all levels, experience with large and high-profile organizations
• Strong influencing skills to manage key decision-makers in highly political environments
• Working effectively in multi-disciplinary and cross-organizational teams.
