Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to work with our cloud based microservices casino platform!
We thrive in well-designed, scalable, systems that use modern approaches that result in solutions which are easy to build and maintain. The systems mainly use a modern, effective Scala and Java-based technology stack, delivering reliable and high throughput transaction processing.
You will be expected to:
Participate in development and maintenance of our core platform applications
Write unit and other automated tests
Work and communicate efficiently with the rest of the development team, including Architect, Product Owner and Development Manager
Qualifications
Proven experience in building and delivering robust scalable platform using modern Java and/or Scala
Passion for our profession, modern and pragmatic software development, and improving yourself technically
Be proactive, pragmatic, professional and result oriented
Are highly self-driven, responsible and keen to learn to become an even better developer
Enjoy paying attention to details and care about solid solutions
Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Our working language is English, so we require proficiency in spoken and written English
Master's Degree in IT or equivalent education
Have 4+ years of professional experience in developing distributed and resilient platform applications
Nice to have:
Experience in Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Microsoft SQL Server and JPA / Hibernate
Experience and interest in modern programming trends such as functional and reactive programming and event sourcing
Experience with Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
