In this role, you'll work with all angles of the product, in both new and ongoing projects. This means taking on the business perspective, having empathy for the customers, and being driven to find clarity through the fog together with the team.
About the job
We need a talented Senior Software Engineer to help us develop new and ongoing features for our users. This means that you'll work closely with product, design, and customer success colleagues in a fast-paced environment. In fact, no day is the same, therefore you'll have a significant impact on the areas you work with. Here are some challenges you'll work on:
• Build a scalable cloud service mainly in GoLang and React with Typescript to support the growing logistics needs of Sendify's customer base spread across the world
• Build using an API-first approach to facilitate the integration with various e-commerce platforms and logistics solution providers
• Help improve the operational efficiency of Sendify through automation, leading to a world-class customer experience
• Participate in pair programming and pair review sessions
• Mentoring junior members of the engineering team by following Sendify's development practices, and continuously improving them
• Take an active part in our team culture = be open and supportive, curious, collaborative, and brave

Our stack
Sendify aims to use best-in-class technology. We experiment a lot at the edges, but the core of our system remains clean and stable. Our stack is built around TypeScript, React, Amplify, Go, K8S, AWS, MySQL, Gitlab CI/CD, and Pulumi.
What we're looking for
To succeed, we believe you:
• Have several years of proven track record as a Full-stack engineer, producing well-tested and well-architected web applications
• Keep up with current trends and best practices in the industry and suggest improvements
• Have built scalable cloud-based services computing with AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / Pulumi)
• Have experience in TDD and BDD
• Strongly believe in the power of UML and OOP, in collaboration with your teammates
• Are fluent in English
It's a bonus if you:
• Have founded or been employed in a product startup previously
• Have Docker / Kubernetes knowledge
• Have experience building React and GoLang-based applications
• Have CI / CD experience (especially with Gitlab)
• Are fluent in Swedish or/and German
