Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to strengthen our existing team in Gothenburg.
The role:
This role is to develop subsystem functions related to BEV vehicle charging as LV and HV charging, also develop plug & charge functions for Powertrain EE within customer projects. The incumbent will support current and future customers to manage and deliver Powertrain work packages and programs. The incumbent will work with the EU team and offshore delivery centers to deliver current and future Powertrain Programs.
This position will be working within TTL Engineering Research and Development on a new small platform design project. The role will require a candidate that enjoys performing a variety of roles within the Powertrain domain related to BEV subsystem function development as BEV charging functions. The responsibility of the role will be to ensure delivery of all necessary work packages to complete the EE Powertrain.
Area of Responsibility:
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Supplier management.
Management of outsourced work packages.
Requirements cascade and management.
Test co-ordination.
Assisting with vehicle tests.
Managing attribute development and ensuring attribute targets are achieved.
Knowledge / Experience:
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal instruction and provide technical support to others
Knowledge of BEV architecture HV system, EVSE, OBC, DCDC.
Previous experience within automotive background covering multiple areas that may include control systems.
Charging standards, CCS1, CCS2 and PLC charging protocols.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and certification testing.
Knowledge of controls systems and diagnostic functions.
Knowledge of Driveability calibration (preferably experience).
Knowledge of driver modes.
Experience with requirements cascade and management.
Knowledge of s/w and calibration industrialisation and release process.
Desired Qualifications:
Recent experience within OEM or Tier1 suppliers of embedded ECU.
HW electronics knowledge.
Create Design requisite documents for new components to new suppliers
Create DVP with suppler and do verification method from function descriptions.
Experience of common SW and functions tools
Part release, SW, function req documents, documentation release in Teamcenter.
Experience of managing suppliers and co-ordinating deliverables.
Product validation (FMEA, DVP&R, Data analysis)
Product sign-off and report documentation
