hela Sverige The department Controls Driveline are responsible for development of control solutions on complete driveline level as well as internal control solutions for transmissions and axles. We work with the complete development cycle from requirement to implementation and calibration in machine. Currently we are involved in a number of big and challenging development projects and need to strengthen our organization for the future.
Job Summary
You will work as a software development engineer for embedded systems with focus on the entire product lifecycle from new technology exploration to industrialization. The work will be carried out in project teams with broad skills in driveline control function development where your role will be to provide the senior software development skills and guide other team members in this area.
Your responsibility will be to secure that the delivered software will reach our high demand of quality, maintainability and safety. Beside the development work in projects you will also be expected to help improve our software development processes and tools as well as train other employees in the field.
In our development environment we work with both C code and with model based development and auto code generation with Matlab/Simulink. In this role, the ability within C code is priority one, but a good ability within Matlab / simulink is also expected.
The end application is heavy machines such as wheel loaders, articulated haulers, motor graders and trucks. The work is based on close cooperation with complete machine developers and is carried out in cross functional projects with representation from both electronic system and mechanical design.

Qualifications
• Master or Bachelor of Science within SW engineering or similar
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in software development in C for embedded systems
• Knowledge and experience of model based development and automatic code generation with Matlab/Simulink
• Experience of control function development for transmissions, driveline systems or other mechatronic systems.
• Comprehensive experience and knowledge of SW quality assurance
• Ability to plan, take own initiatives and work independently as well as a team member
• Good communication skills in English are a requirement. Proficiency in Swedish is desirable.
