Your workdays
As a Software Developer at Cochlear, you will be a part of the Software System Department that is responsible for developing clinical software for Windows systems. The Clinical Software is used in more than 2000 clinics to configure the hearing device in the Baha Bone Conduction Implant system.
You will work together with competent, engaged and friendly colleagues to improve and develop the clinical software for hearing products. The team works agile and delivers medical device desktop applications built on a .NET platform using MVVM and WPF. You will contribute to the team by identifying new technologies, being a source of technical expertise and a mentor for other engineers. You will be focusing on backend programming working with the business logic using known design patterns. Since you are an experienced Developer, you will also get responsibility for software architecture design and contribute with ideas of improvements in Cochlear's development processes and design tools.
Your profile
We believe that you are a passionate developer with >5 years working with C#, preferably with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent academic degree. You have previous experience from Microsoft development environment, TFS & Visual studio and using MVVM and WPF on a .NET platform. Great interest and knowledge in algorithms and previous experience of implementing design patterns is preferred. You enjoy a process driven and structured way of work and have experience of working in an agile environment.
We are looking for a team player with good communication skills who builds long and strong relationships with co-workers. Good verbal and written English and Swedish language skills.
