For AstraZeneca we are now looking for a Senior Research Scientist in the field of Immunology for a consultant assignment for 6 months with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2015-05-08Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Senior Research Scientist in Immunology you will be working with a range of technical methods, specifically:
• Immunoassay
• ELISA platforms (MSD, Gyros, Luminex)
• Immunohistochemistry
• in situ hybridation
• mass spectrometry for analysis of biomarkers
• other automated processing and analysis equipment
You will develop and set up bioanalytical methods for quantification of biomarkers for the CVMD projects and perform problem solving studies by identification of issues and where necessary designing experiments to overcome problems. You will also Identify new approaches and technologies that would improve our ability to support projects,aintain awareness of relevant areas of research, drug discover/development technologies and regulatory requirements through reading scientific literature and guidelines, plan and report all work to appropriate standards (Good Laboratory Standard, GLS) and keep project teams appraised of findings.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
You have expertise in range of technical skills, specifically immunoassay/ELISA platforms (MSD, Gyros, Luminex etc), as well as immunohistochemistry, and in situ hybridation and significant experience in biology of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Experience in mass spectrometry for analysis of biomarkers and other automated processing and analysis equipment would be advantageous.
