NASDAQ OMX is currently looking for a Senior QA Test Analyst to join our Index Market Tech Team.

The Index Market Tech Team is part of Global Technology Solutions, delivering technology solutions to customers around the world. As a Senior QA Test Analyst you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high quality software, with ever increasing performance requirements and simultaneously contribute to improve agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.
As Software Developer Specialist you will work with highly motivated and skilled colleagues in an international and dynamic environment. This position is a fantastic opportunity to develop your personal, technical and leadership skills, while gaining an extensive knowledge of the exchange industry.
Main Tasks
• Lead and enhance our current test processes
• Understand underlying system architecture and requirements as well as business strategy
• Create test plans, along with associated data and scripts and any other related documentation required
• Undertake testing execution
• Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to ensure resolution of recorded issues
• Develop testing tools
Qualifications
• Bachelor in computer science, or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant working experience - preferably in the Financial Industry
• Proven experience in functional and regression testing, specifically on complex server based, mission critical systems
• Methodical approach to achieve coverage of software
• Effective communicator as the role will require ability to liaise with development / business teams and occasionally with clients
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and SQL databases in general
• Working knowledge Oracle databases is a plus
• Understanding of financial markets and the index business is a plus
• Experience of Test Automation, working with real-time market data feeds is meriting
