With an international and fast-growing team composed of 80+ employees in Gothenburg and Stockholm, we are now looking to hire Senior Product Designers to our growing product team in Gothenburg.
At Bokio you will work closely with world-class designers, developers, serial entrepreneurs and business strategists with the courage to create new disruptive products that will impact the everyday life of our users. Your role as a Product Designer at Bokio plays an important part in how we build the final solution. We try to keep our team sizes as small as possible so we can move quickly and efficiently.
What you will do at Bokio
Design & Optimize:
Lead and refine the user experience and visual design of our product.
Work independently, from initial research to delivering final designs to developers.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.
Collaborate & Advocate:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, other designers, researchers and other stakeholders to create cohesive and innovative solutions.
Represent and advocate for user-centric design in discussions and decision-making processes.
Research & Validate:
Conduct user research and usability tests to understand user needs and validate design concepts.
Analyze data to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Maintain Standards:
Develop and uphold design systems and guidelines to ensure uniformity across products.
Stay Informed & Lead:
Keep updated on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.
Mentor and lead other designers when needed, and proactively seek opportunities for product improvements.
Who you are
You have at least 5 years of work experience in product design, user research and usability testing.
You are highly empathetic, you know how users think and feel at any given stage in the user journey.
You have a "get things done" mentality and a relentless desire for learning new things.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have good communication and collaboration skills and you are fluent in English. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
You have the ability to work quickly, independently and pragmatically; you can handle multiple design projects concurrently while shifting priorities as required to meet deadlines.
You are creative, you think outside of the box and love to solve problems.
You have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and current digital trends.
You are experienced in presenting your work, narrating design rationale and advocating your design solutions to various stakeholders.
Bonus if
You are a Figma ninja.
You can translate your design to code.
You have a masters or bachelor degree in interaction design or similar.
Solid knowledge of responsive design and designing for multiple platforms and devices.
