Senior/Principal Researcher
Position description
The R&D branch of Huawei Technologies Sweden AB currently seeks candidates for the opened position of Senior/Principal Researcher. The position involves research and development of new conceptual solutions applicable in the physical layers of the next generation wireless standards. Depending of candidate?s interests and abilities, the positions may also involve participation in the related standardization bodies.
The opened position is in an independent research group, characterized with internationally recognized expertise and innovation capabilities.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 4 years experience and proven results in the research of radio transmission, radio access and signal processing technologies.
The detailed knowledge of LTE cellular standard is highly desirable.
Particularly attractive is the expertise in the technical areas of compressive sensing, distributed antenna transmission systems, cognitive radio, etc.
The PhD degree in the areas of communications, information theory or signal processing is highly desirable.
We expect good social and networking skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
The fluency in English is a prerequisite.
Location
This is a permanent position at our office in Kista, Stockholm, Sweden.
