FPC is seeking Senior Managers for Strategic planning and Portfolio to join us in developing future fingerprint systems for mobile phones and other segments. FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices. 

The Role

As Senior Manager Strategic planning & Portfolio you are responsible for bringing forward plans and analysis for securing the long term success of FPC. This includes defining the total market, breaking down the total market into segments and applying analysis within the segments FPC should participate in and identification of important market trends. Preparing decisions material in the area of responsibility for further approval by the Management team. The function is responsible for contributing to the definition of FPC's Total Addressable Market and breaking this down into meaningful detailed data.

The function is also responsible for areas of the Company product portfolio. This includes making sure that FPC product portfolio supports the strategy to ensure growth and profitability, that FPC has the right offering in the area of where FPC successfully can compete and to secure that the product portfolio is continuously optimized. This includes to proactively drive the portfolio development to and associated issues and to propose solutions to critical issues, in particular when it comes to the business aspect of the product portfolio such as top line opportunities, profitability and competitiveness.

For the position of Senior Manager Strategic & Portfolio Management your key responsibilities are to:

• Secure creation and analysis of the FPC Business Plan which is approved by the CEO and Management Team. This means that you have a great degree of impact of decisions making in the area.
• You and your colleagues in the group have the ownership of the FPC Market forecast databases and deliverables, determining the FPC Total Addressable Market and market share tracking.
• You are also responsible for optimizing of the FPC Product Portfolio. This work is done in close cooperation with other departments in FPC, both technical and business assessments are required to identify gaps and overlaps and address those towards the organization.
• Preparing and maintaining business cases for the products included in the product portfolio on a separate and consolidated basis.
• Secure FPC product portfolio supports our company strategy to ensure growth and profitability. Drive Portfolio Development-, investigate Portfolio opportunities outside current Portfolio and facilitate the strategic discussion regarding the company's product portfolio.

Your Background

This role requires Master of Science with Business knowledge, a highly technical and economical understanding is highly required.

Success in the role also requires:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Solid understanding of the Semiconductor industry, its business and technology
• First-hand experience from product portfolio management and/or business planning in Semiconductors and Consumer devices, preferably Mobile phones or mobile phone solutions, Internet of Things, Banking and/or Cards or other fields that can be seen as preferable.
• You need excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing.

You also have essential qualities as being highly analytic and structured, capable in gathering lots of detailed data and process this into a consolidated picture. You are used to work educational and have good negotiation skills with ability to influence and engage others effectively at all levels and nationalities and capable of creating a good cooperation and working with many different stakeholders. You have a curiosity regarding technical as well as commercial industries. It's important to assess planning but also have the ability to improvise and find solutions when necessary. You are goal oriented and have very good interpersonal skills and experience from customer and supplier interaction. You have an open mind and a positive attitude to approach new ideas and se new opportunities.

The work location is Malmö. You are reporting to VP, Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management.

International travel to FPC suppliers, partners and customers may be frequent.
