What's in it for you?
You will be part of a global supply and production team that makes sure that the products we build meet the highest expectations from our customers. You will work in close collaboration with people, both inside and outside the company from the supplier to the customer - in a lean way.
What you'll do
You 'll be responsible to deliver technical logistic solutions, both within new projects and running operations. The top focus is to establish best in class logistic solutions from pick up at supplier to material distribution at line, in lean flow oriented processes. Further you will develop the logistic process to fulfill long-term goals concerning quality, delivery precision and cost according to the targets set by Supply Chain and Volvo Car Body Component (VCBC) management teams.
You must be aspired and by that you have ability to build commitment in a team, drive development of the business, develop Volvo Cars Manufacturing System, reduce losses and drive operations towards a lean production set up. Additionally we expect you to optimize the flow, cross functionally from supplier to point of use as well as organize work and resources to meet the company's targets in both short and long term perspective.
To be successful in the role you must be able to lead the team in a way that supports the Volvo Cars culture and wanted leadership behaviors. Other responsibilities and requirements for the position includes performance management, competence development and resource allocation according to priorities of the business.

We are looking for a committed and inspiring manager, combined with curiosity for logistics and technical solutions. The right candidate has a significant leadership experience from a formal position and can enhance a strong personal leadership in line with Volvo Cars values and you are highly successful in lead and motivate people to bring out the best.
You find energy and motivation in releasing others' potential, allowing them to grow. Thanks to your excellent communication skills, you have the ability to create strong and trustful relationships. We know that you believe in the power of people, have strong communication and collaboration skills while being able to think strategically.
You have a University degree and are fluent in English, both written and spoken. You have an engineering background or equivalent. As a person you are able to build confidence and trust at all levels of the organization, have a holistic view and are goal oriented. You will be a member of the logistics management team and report directly to the Shop Manager of Supply Chain VCBC.
