Beskrivning av verksamheten
The section aims to pursue high quality undergraduate, postgraduate and research. Four full undergraduate programs (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy and audiology) are within the section. The Occupational Therapy program provides education in bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. A new curriculum for basic education to occupational therapy was adopted in 2013 and is under implementation, which is why the continuous development of new courses is included. The program has a creative research environment.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
SPECIFIC SUBJECT DESCRIPTION The subject is based on occupational science which encompasses the knowledge and study of man in activity, her ability to use her time and environment, physical as well as social and cultural. Furthermore, occupational science includes the knowledge of human engagement; desire and ability to have and take control of her life in the society she lives in. Activity and awareness of habits, lifestyles and the environment are also included. JOB ASSIGNMENTS The position consists of working in a learning environment with a strong focus on studentcentered learning. The position includes teaching at the undergraduate and graduate education, research and supervision. Teaching takes place in both Swedish and English. The tasks also include research and teaching in close cooperation with municipal elderly care.

Utbildning och erfarenhet
ELIGIBILITY The qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. For the position as senior lecturer the applicant must have a PhD degree, demonstrated pedagogical skills and must hold a qualification as a registered occupational therapist. ASSESSMENT Regulations for the evaluation of qualifications for academic positions are given in Chapter 4, Section 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance. The first assessment criterion will be scientific skills including research. In addition, the applicant must have demonstrated pedagogical skills at the undergraduate levels, and demonstrate good experience of municipal elderly care. In the assessment, emphasis will be placed on scientific and pedagogical skills of relevance to the topic. In the assessment, great importance will be given to experience in the development and research management in municipal elderly care and expertise as a specialist occupational therapist. The successful applicant may also be asked to complete an educational programme within the first year of employment.
