In this role you will primarily be responsible for leading and managing the emerging markets portfolio within the Medical Beds franchise from a holistic approach (from inception to launch to obsolescence).
You will work closely with Arjo key stakeholders such as senior management, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality & Regulatory and Arjo Global Sales organizations to drive success of the product area.
You will have a unique opportunity to have great impact, and the job is independent where you as the owner can make things happen and put your own footprint in a global company that affect people's lives.
The main responsibilities include:
• Develop and own product visions, strategies and roadmaps for the product area
• Drive and own scoping and delivery of product requirements into product development projects, OEM/distribution projects and any other inorganic growth projects
• Develop firm and clear product value propositions based on customer needs as guidance for product development as well as key messaging for product launches
• Secure strong business cases through thorough analysis of markets, pricing, competitors and Arjo capabilities
• Build constructive relationships and communicate with all relevant internal and external parties, suppliers, opinion leaders and customers.
• Perform all activities in compliance with relevant quality system standards and maintain post marketing surveillance information.
• Act as the advocate and internal expert for the products and their intended use
The position is located in Malmö and requires driving license and traveling on global basis.
The Ideal Candidate
We believe that the right candidate should:
• Have strong product management skills in a global environment
• Have experience from emerging markets
• Have experience from working with ODMs/OEMs
• Have strong business acumen, customer insight interpretation and market understanding
• Be a self-motivated and pro-active person with high energy and strong ability to get things done
• Have a natural ability to influence and drive collaboration from multiple areas of the organization to achieve timelines and expected level of quality
• Be competent at leading projects involving cross functional teams and global markets and possess ability to develop excellent cross-functional
working relationships.
• Be capable of developing, presenting and gaining approval for key product strategies at Senior Management level
• Have a bachelor's or preferably a master's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or engineering.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills in English
To have industry/sector experience (Medical Devices, Health Care Products, Technical Health Products) is considered meritorious but not a demand
The role will be reporting to Director Product Category Management, Medical Beds & Room Solutions.
