Are you an experienced engineer open for new challenges? We are looking for a senior embedded software developer to join our video team within Core Technologies Media.
The Core Technologies Media team is responsible for video and audio. As an engineer within our team you will, among other things, work with smart handling of video encoding, video encoding standards, innovating and developing new features and most of all, have a close collaboration with other teams. During the development the costumer perspective is always in focus.
As a core team we are not only working closely with the newest products and solutions but are also responsible for the long term agenda in these areas. We take great pride in being creative and bringing new and innovative functionality to the Axis product portfolio. We think you are an engineer with several years of experience and good knowledge of software development. You have a strong technology interest and have preferably worked with embedded Linux systems and firmware development. It is important that you have an interest in programming and knowledge of test driven development. Basically, you enjoy programming and you have a drive and an interest in writing "great code". It is beneficial if you have a grasp of video streaming and video codec standards like H.264, HEVC or VP9.
As a person, you are positive, curious and have an open mindset. You are familiar with working in projects based on agile working methodologies. You embrace teamwork and have the ability to work unsupervised.
