hela Sverige We are looking for a senior Cognos Developer to join one of the largest Business Intelligence departments in Sweden. Find your place in a fast moving and international environment where you as a Cognos Developer will take on challenges such as developing and securing BI solutions for a global and expanding business in a complex integration landscape.
As a senior Cognos Developer you will participate in the analysis and understanding of business requirements together with a Requirement Analyst and business representatives. You will suggest, design and develop sustainable solutions in Cognos reports and SSAS cubes and work proactively to propose improvements. As a senior Developer, you will have a key role in providing the analytics that makes our business successful by finding creative solutions that solves the analysis needs that our business requires. Together with your team you will support our Buying Office where a wide range of analysis is done in exciting areas such as sales for online and stores, planning of new collection for coming seasons and warehouse and stock optimization.

Your responsibilities
The job of a senior Cognos Developer at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun.
Your to do-list includes:
• Designing and developing Cognos reports and SSAS cubes
• Assist our ETL Solution Designer with front-end input to the back-end design
• Troubleshooting development and production problems/issues
• Maintenance of existing reports and analysis
• Unit- and integration tests
• Documentation and to perform code reviews
• Work proactively to suggest improvements and propose different possible solutions
• Support and knowledge transfer to more junior developers and developers offshore
• Make sure the solution is sustainable from a functional and performance perspective

And your skills include:
• Several years' experience of development in Cognos Report Studio. Preferably with MDX queries
• Experience with OLAP cubes. It is an advantage if you have experience working with SSAS cubes
• Experience in SQL Server
• Experience working with layout and usability
• Very good communication skills in English
• Knowledge of or experience with Cognos analytics is a plus
• Experience working with agile methodology in distributed teams is a plus
