We are currently seeking a Senior Cloud Architect for our office in Gothenburg, Sweden
The architecture team in Gothenburg is expanding and looks for an architect to guide the organization and provide technical leadership on our cloud journey. As an organization we are about to take on one of the biggest challenges in the industry, where solutions are to move to the cloud and be offered as a service. If you are passionate about things like AWS Well-Architected Framework, k8s, cloud native environments and similar, you're the one we are looking for.
We are an agile software development organization, embracing the SAFe framework. As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will be a member of a highly skilled team of SW architects with diverse skills and common goals. You will be working with your colleges on refining the technical roadmap to cloud native solutions, while guiding the development teams in transforming current solutions into services in the cloud. Our products are at different maturity levels and with a variety of cloud native and legacy components. The ambition is to establish DevSecOps tool chains, with a focus on SRE and composable service architectures for the entire portfolio of our products. You will be optimizing the solutions for high availability, resilience and reliability, as our solutions are used for operation critical systems in the aviation industry.
You will be a key stakeholder in strategic decisions on cloud technologies, providers and operations. As a person, you are a visionary and vivid communicator, with a genuine desire to learn and share your knowledge. You are also expected to be a hands-on person, able to drive and participate in collaborations with the development teams. You will lead the design, build, authorization, implementation, and integration of a cloud native cross domain system to transport large volumes of data in a wide array of formats from unclassified network domains to multiple classified network domains.
Position Responsibilities:
In your role as an architect we expect you to:
provide technical leadership and mentor teams towards self-empowerment, speed and agility
grow and oversee the architectural network in the organization to ensure proper governance of the architecture.
evolve and document our architectural vision and other models that are required to describe how the system should do what it is intended to do.
help product management to identify and prioritize the architectural epics needed to implement the business requirements of our products and solutions.
help the agile teams identify and prioritize architectural enablers to ensure that there is sufficient architectural runway for future development.
mentor the agile teams to design software that conform to non-functional requirements, meet architectural standards, and do not increase technical debt.
If this sounds like a lot of fun, and cloud native development is a domain that you are versed in, we want you onboard! Let's have fun together, while soaring among the clouds!
