What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.
Our wide international business demands a world class Security Risk Management operation with the best practices in place using "one Saab Security" approach. As a team member of staff function Security there will be plenty of challenges to support our business with solid security operations including task force assignments both in Sweden and internationally.Our leadership is based on empowerment and trust with a "hands on, can do" attitude.
Your role
The Business Unit Security Manager coordinates, monitor and supports the operation with security management in all phases of our winning and execute business process. The security manager also contributes with security risk evaluations, protection of our critical assets and securing compliant operations.
Management and employees awareness of current security related threats and identifying security risks is also a key assignment including suggestions for security mitigations. Governed by head of Security at BA Support & Services you will serve as the Security function's representative for Business Unit Communication and Tactical Solutions participating in their Management Teams.
Your skills and experience
The Security Manager we are looking for combines strong integrity and security awareness with a broad business understanding and the ability to work both on a strategical, operational and tactical level. Experience of hands on security management, civil or military, and a desire to develop in the security environment is essential as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Well-proven as project manager with international experience and/or in ICT-related work is also much appreciated. University level degree, or similar education, in e.g. social/political science, law, risk management, business administration, law enforcement, military other related areas is required. Experience/background from security operations in a government, police, military, public or private security context is a plus.
This position includes access to classified information, therefore you are required to conduct a security screening in accordance with the Protective Security Act and be approved for security clearance by the authority.
